Townes Van Zandt – Townes Van Zandt - Promo First Press LP!

1969 promotional first press (Hollywood pressing) on Poppy label. Sleeve has an embossed promo not for sale stamps on back upper left. Sleeve has some but mild corner wear and no splitting or edge wear, on the back there is some minor fading and scuffs but overall sleeve is VG+. There is a scuff/tear on side one label (probably where an old price tag was removed, see pic)

The disc has one major issue, there is a scratch on side two during the third track "Fare thee well Mrs Carsouel that cause a repeated pop/tick for the the majority of the song and then near the end does cause it to jump/skip. Other than that the rest of the disc plays without any ticking or skipping issues and has just mild surface noise in the most quiet sections and all other tracks are VG+. Price has been reduced due to the issue on Side 2 track 3. If you're ok with that then this is a more affordable copy of this hard to find OG copy of one of Townes best.
