The Velvet Underground – The Velvet Underground - early 70's UK press LP with "closet" mix

1971 UK pressing on MGM label. Two mixes of this LP exist. MGM engineer Val Valentin completed a clean mix and Lou Reed made an alternate mix (so called closet mix with some noticeable differences on certain songs including a totally different take of Some Kind of Love used). Reed's mix was used here on this pressing. Sleeve has some corner and edge wear but no seam splits and is lower end VG+. Disc has some minor faint marks and scratches but plays without issues other than some minor surface noise mainly between tracks and overall is solid VG+. Great cheaper early 70’s hard to find closet mix copy
